Job summary

A not-for-profit housing and support service provider is looking for a Project Worker to join their team in Weston Super Mare. This rewarding position involves helping customers facing homelessness develop independence and improve their well-being. Applicants should have experience working with vulnerable adults and an NVQ3 in Health and Social Care, or a willingness to obtain one. Qualifications

  • Ability to maintain customer choice, privacy, and dignity.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to help customers regain independence.
  • Write and update support plans based on customers' needs.
  • Liaise with external support links to enhance customers' well-being.

Skills

Experience of working with adults who have experienced homelessness
Enthusiastic and flexible with a strong 'can-do' attitude
Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative
Strong organisational skills
Functional literacy and numeracy
Ability to react quickly to changing priorities
NVQ3 in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards
