Job summary

A financial services company in Redruth seeks an Assistant Finance Manager to support the Finance Manager in delivering accurate financial reports and overseeing the finance team. Responsibilities include managing sales and purchase ledgers, producing balance sheet reconciliations, and supporting credit control. Responsibilities

  • Support the Finance Manager in delivering accurate financial reports.

  • Produce balance sheet reconciliations and support month-end controls.
  • Oversee weekly invoicing and day-to-day finance operations.
  • Process sales and purchase ledger entries.
  • Support credit control and VAT submissions.

What You'll Be Doing
  • ✔️ Supporting the Finance Manager in delivering timely, accurate financial and KPI reports
  • ✔️ Managing and supporting the finance team, including task allocation and regular 1:1s
  • ✔️ Producing balance sheet reconciliations and supporting month-end controls
  • ✔️ Overseeing weekly invoicing and day-to-day finance operations
  • ✔️ Processing sales and purchase ledger entries
  • ✔️ Supporting credit control, direct debit collections, and VAT submissions
We're Looking For
  • 🔹 Experience managing or supervising people within a finance environment
  • 🔹 Commercially aware, with a strong analytical approach to business performance
  • 🔹 Solid experience across sales ledger, purchase ledger, and credit control
  • 🔹 Highly organised, able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
