Job summary

A leading digital verification company in the UK seeks a Head of Tax to oversee tax strategy, compliance, and governance. You will manage tax liabilities, ensure compliance with global tax regulations, and provide strategic insights. The ideal candidate is a qualified accountant or tax advisor with extensive experience, particularly in international tax and transfer pricing. This is a 15-month fixed-term contract starting in April 2026, aimed at covering maternity leave.

Qualifications

• Experience of working in a managerial tax role.
• Strong knowledge of tax accounting and compliance.
• Ability to manage tax liabilities and provide insights.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with the Group's tax policy and strategy.
• Manage all direct and indirect tax matters across the Group.
• Provide strategic tax advice and updates to the Board.

Skills

Qualified accountant and/or tax advisor (ACA or CTA)

Tax training in a Top 10 accountancy firm

Extensive corporate tax experience

Proven in-house experience

International tax matters management experience

Strong technical skills
