Job description

We are seeking a part-time (approx 0.7 FTE) Teacher of Art & Design to join a successful and well-resourced department at Leicester Grammar School. The role involves teaching up to A-Level, supporting students in developing strong practical skills, creative thinking and independence. You will work with motivated pupils in a structured environment that values high standards, purposeful learning and thoughtful artistic development.

The successful candidate will be confident guiding students of varying abilities, maintaining an organised studio environment, and delivering clear, engaging teaching that builds both technical understanding and creative confidence.

We are looking for someone who is reliable, enthusiastic about their subject, and committed to contributing positively to the wider life of the school.
