Job Title: Engineering Technician

Location: Gaydon, Warwickshire

Rate: £24.00ph via an Umbrella Company (Inside IR35) or £18.00ph PAYE

Employment Type: Contract (31.3.26)

Job Description:

This workshop-based role involves working on current Production and Engineering vehicles. The main objective is updating vehicles to the latest software pack for SOTA and Integration testing, fault detection, repair, and testing of electrical and mechanical systems and components.

• Diagnostic and repair of mechanical vehicle systems such as engine and chassis systems.
• Software updates and testing.
• Service, diagnostics, and repair operations on current vehicles.
• Providing technical feedback for fault identification and supporting subsystem development.
• Preparation, fitment, and removal of test components.
• Assembly and replacement of systems and components.
• Manufacture and modification of electrical harnesses.
• Diagnosing, tracing faults, rectifying, and validating issues.
• Using computer diagnostic equipment.
• Reading and interpreting drawings and liaising with engineering departments.
• Fitting harnesses and other components.
• Developing "one off" solutions to overcome issues.
