Our Health Care Assistants support people to live their best lives, whatever that looks like to them. No two days will ever be the same, but your day‑to‑day responsibilities will include:

• Supporting people with their personal care
• Assisting people at meal times
• Understanding individual health and wellbeing needs
• Encouraging and supporting people to take part in social activities, both in and out of the home

• Completing and maintaining care records

Castleford train station – 1.9 miles away.

Wheldale Heights is a short drive from the A1, A1(M) and other major roads including A656. The home is based on a site with three other Exemplar Health Care homes. When you arrive on the site, Wheldale Heights is on the left. There are limited parking spaces in the home’s car park. Street parking is available in the surrounding area.
