Double Standard Waiter/Waitress · £14.05 – £14.82 per hour (incl. Tronc) plus Additional Tips & Company Benefits · Full-time · Full Flexibility Required Monday – Sunday · Kings Cross · Late-Night Thursday – Saturday (1.30am)

We are now looking for a Waiter/Waitress to join our Double Standard team – a restaurant famous for its burgers, DJs, boozy brunches, guest chefs and BBQ’s, all enjoyed in the 70s-inspired bar space or in the sun-soaked terraces.

Your role

As a Double StandardWaiter/Waitress, you will become part of an exceptional restaurant and bar team. You will therefore need to be passionate about service, very well organised, with an strong working knowledge of restaurant and bar operations, and the order of service.

A Double Standard Waiter/Waitress will have a deep appreciation and knowledge of our menu and bar offering to confidently host and guide our guests to enhance their experience. You will therefore need to be highly social, upbeat, and friendly; confident and able to handle pressure well; thrive in a busy high-volume, high-energy environment and manage multiple tasks and guests with ease.

• Prior experience as a Waiter/Waitress with the ability to engage and connect with a wide range of guests from different backgrounds, ideally gained in a similar ‘Lifestyle’ boutique hotel, or destination or high-quality restaurant or cocktail bar
• Confidence in restaurant operations and the order of service, with a passion for food and drinks
• Flair for service and the ability to build genuine relationships with guests
• Good level of drinks knowledge from cocktails, wines and beers to confidently make recommendations to guests
• Highly social, motivated, and pro-active; acting with professionalism and positivity in all interactions
• Available full-time with full flexibility to work Monday – Sunday (late night Thursday–Saturday, 1.30am)
