A nature conservation organization is offering a seasonal opportunity at the Grey Mare’s Tail Nature Reserve in Scotland. The role involves engaging in hands-on conservation work, such as species monitoring and managing the reserve. Ideal candidates will have a positive attitude towards wildlife and visitors, a passion for nature, and the ability to work independently in a beautiful but challenging upland environment. This position runs from April to October 2026.

Contract type: Fixed term 40 hours per week 1 April – 31 October 2026

Salary: £26,757 - £28,252 pro-rata, per annum
This is an exciting opportunity to come and work for the National Trust for Scotland at the mighty Grey Mare’s Tail for the season and get involved in hands on conservation work including species monitoring, practical management and public engagement.
