Job summary

A prominent community care organization is seeking a Social Care Training Officer to deliver in-house training, primarily home-based but requiring some travel. The role involves coordinating training to meet Care Certificate standards and developing new training programmes. Ideal candidates will have relevant qualifications in Learning & Development and experience in the care sector, along with strong IT skills and a clean driving licence. Qualifications

• Qualification in Learning & Development and/or PTTLS / CTTLS or DTTLS teacher training / Level 3 qualification is preferred.
• Experience in training staff in the care sector is key.
• Strong IT skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Organise and deliver in-house training via face-to-face or virtual platforms.
• Coordinate training to meet workforce development plans.
• Develop new training programmes and improve existing ones.

Skills

Qualification in Learning & Development or related teacher training

Experience in training delivery in the care sector

Strong IT skills

Good attention to detail

Full clean driving licence

Education
