Job summary

A local healthcare provider in Swindon is seeking a Medical Typist/Administrator to support the clerical tasks within the Planned Care division. You will be responsible for typing letters and managing patient records while ensuring high-quality standards are upheld. Ideal candidates will possess strong secretarial skills, relevant qualifications, and experience in a medical environment. Qualifications

  • Educated to GCSE Grade C in English or equivalent.
  • Demonstrable working knowledge of Microsoft packages, especially Word and Outlook.
  • Willingness to actively seek personal development and training.

Responsibilities

  • Type clinic letters, general letters, and patient documentation.
  • Manage the Straight to Test Tracker and escalate appointments.
  • Communicate professionally with colleagues and clinicians.
