# IT Technician, NIHR BioResource for Translational Research (Fixed Term)We are recruiting an IT Technician with experience of working in an IT department. This change and increased level of expectations have led to a need to provide more skilled responses to support NIHR Bioresource staff and systems. This role will assist in the delivery of a professional IT service enabling the ongoing delivery of best practice processes going forward.The post joins an IT service team providing IT support to the BioResource. The post holder will be involved in all aspects of IT. The role will suit a responsible person with experience of working in IT support, looking to progress their skills. The NIHR BioResource is committed to providing training to allow the right candidate to progress.The role holder takes responsibility for providing first- and second-line support for the IT services of the department, including the problem solving of routine technical issues.
