Key Responsibilities

To conduct and design experimental investigations that advance the Company's pipeline, processes, or technologies, proposing improvements for review. Responsibilities include assay development and qualification for ImmTAX and other TCR-based molecules, overseeing method transfers to CDMOs, and leading investigational and CMC support packages.

  1. Designing and conducting chromatographic, electrophoretic, and immunoassay development studies.
  2. Supporting qualification of analytical methods per ICH guidelines.
  3. Contributing to method transfers to CDMOs.
  4. Leading studies on biologics/drug products, including comparability.
  5. Writing protocols and reports.
  6. Performing and leading investigations, proposing new experiments based on data.
  7. Setting priorities for work and projects, making informed decisions.
  8. Sharing technical knowledge and mentoring colleagues.
  9. Ensuring accurate and timely laboratory records.
  10. Providing guidance on equipment use and recommending new equipment.
  11. Communicating research findings effectively.
  12. Adhering to safety policies in laboratories.
Person Specification
Experience & Knowledge

Essential

  • Experience in developing chromatographic and electrophoretic methods for recombinant proteins or antibodies.
  • Experience working in a bench-based biopharmaceutical lab.
  • Expertise in electrophoretic, chromatographic, or immuno-analytical techniques.
  • Experience in assay qualification/validation.
  • Knowledge of biopharmaceutical stability studies.
  • Teamwork experience and initiative in improving work practices.
  • Ability to present scientific findings and mentor colleagues.

Desirable

  • Experience with late-stage/clinical biopharmaceutical assays.
  • Knowledge of GMP principles.
  • Experience presenting at external conferences.
  • Participation in external collaborations.
  • Project leadership experience.
  • Understanding of analytical needs for clinical trial materials.
Education & Qualifications
  • Essential: BSc or MSc in biochemistry, biotechnology, or related field.
  • Desirable: PhD in a related discipline.
