Sony Music’s Product Design Engineering and Global Operations (PDE + GO) Team is looking for a Software Engineer to join our development team in our King’s Cross London Office.

What you’ll do:
  • Work with a cross-functional team to build products that empower artists and record
    labels across the globe
  • Contribute to all tiers of our architecture to produce high quality, robust user experiences
  • Design, communicate and execute a vision in collaboration with your team and other teams across the technology organization
  • Work closely with product management to understand client requirements
  • Participate in re-architecture, refinement and technical design of various systems
  • Mentor more junior engineers and contribute to a culture of continuous learning
Who you are:

Seeking 8+ years of software engineering experience in the following areas:

  • Experience with microservices, APIs, and related standards such as REST, HTTP, and
    OAuth
  • Experience building full-stack web applications (we use TypeScript, React, GraphQL, Python)
  • Experience with various database technologies and query languages (we use Neo4j,
    MySQL, Snowflake, Elasticsearch, and more)
  • Experience with low-latency techniques to help improve page load time and reliability
  • Experience writing unit and integration tests
  • Strong knowledge of AWS Cloud technologies
  • Comfortable working in an agile team
