We have an exciting opportunity to recruit a Consultant Radiologist to join the team at Harrogate and District Foundation Trust.
The post is for a radiologist with an interest in Head and Neck . Additional secondary interests would be beneficial.
The post will be flexibly time-tabled to meet the demands of the service and take in into account an individual’s requirements. The timing of sessions may change as the service develops. A typical week would be 10 Programmed Activities, including an allocation of 1.5 PA for Supporting Professional Activities. Saturday session will be on rotation when on call. The consultant is on-call from 8am to 8pm with out-sourcing of acute CT to an external provider after 8pm. The Radiologists have access to PACS from home for on-call purposes.
The successful applicant will be based at Harrogate District Hospital, a successful Foundation Trust providing a wide range of medical and radiological services to the local community. We welcome cross-site working with other neighbouring Trusts, for example to maintain tertiary specialist skills whilst still enjoying the benefits of working in smaller friendly radiology team.
