Trade Parts Sales Representative (Field‑Based) Cardiff, CF11
£28,000 basic salary + bonus (OTE £35,000) + company car
Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm
12‑month Fixed‑Term Contract

Renault Cardiff is seeking a Trade Parts Sales Representative to join our established Trade Parts Hub in Cardiff on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract.

This is a field‑based, client‑ and business customer‑facing role focused on B2B sales of branded automotive parts, accessories and consumables from our core brands Renault, Dacia and Alpine. The territory covers Cardiff’s CF postcodes and neighbouring NP, SA and HR areas, working with existing trade customers and cultivating new business opportunities.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and nurture long‑term relationships with a broad customer base, managing accounts with care while identifying opportunities to grow sales and profitability.
  • Visit customer premises, welcome clients to the Trade Parts Hub in Cardiff, and represent the business at trade events or exhibitions.
  • May include parts deliveries when covering parts driver colleagues; adjust routes and timing to coincide with diarised rep visits to relevant clients.
  • Build trust by understanding customer needs and delivering a consistently positive experience.
Qualifications and skills
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work with people and organise workload in a busy, target‑driven environment.
  • Ability to work independently while valuing collaboration and support from colleagues.
  • Customer‑focused approach and a genuine interest in developing professional relationships.
  • Previous experience in B2B sales, field sales, account management or automotive parts is advantageous but not required; transferable skills and the right mindset are welcome.
Working hours, salary and benefits

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, with a one‑hour lunch break (40 hours per week).

Salary: Basic salary £28,000 per annum, with a monthly bonus scheme enabling on‑target earnings of £35,000 per annum or more.
