HR Generalist - Co. Down - Permanent

MCS Group is currently supporting a manufacturing business in the appointment of an HR Generalist to join its people team at a pivotal point in the organisation's development.

The Role

• Managing absence processes, including monitoring trends, advising managers, and supporting return-to-work processes
• Supporting recruitment and retention activity
• Handling employee relations matters, including grievances, disciplinaries, and investigations
• Supporting payroll administration and employee data changes
• Preparing HR reports, metrics, and insights to support the SLT
• Drafting and updating HR policies and documentation
• Supporting the management of the ATS and HR systems
• Contributing to the development of a wider people strategy

The Ideal Candidate

• 3-5 years' HR experience, ideally in a generalist or ER-focused role
• Confident managing employee relations in a practical, pragmatic way
• The ability to adapt in a fast-paced, changing environment
• CIPD qualification (advantageous)
• Manufacturing experience (advantageous)
