Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience programming lathes.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an automotive or aerospace environment.

Responsibilities

• Program 3-axis Vertical Machining Centres.
• Program 5-axis Universal Machining Centres.
• Run low-volume production jobs.
• Run one-off prototype parts for in-house and custom requests.
• Work with a variety of materials including carbon fibre.
• Use CAD skills to create production fixtures.
• Assist shop floor team to streamline machining process.
• Provide feedback to design team on machining feasibility.
• Train apprentices and team members.
