A local council in Cardiff seeks a Senior Civil Enforcement Officer to manage a team in enforcing parking and traffic restrictions. The Civil Enforcement Officers play a vital role by issuing Charge Notices to vehicles in contravention of restrictions.
A permanent position as Grade 6 Senior Civil Enforcement Officer has arisen within the Civil Enforcement Team.
On and off-street parking is in operation in the city in accordance with the enforcement strategy and deployment rota.
The position is subject to a shift pattern on a rolling 4-week basis covering Monday to Sunday from 7am until 10pm and includes bank holidays.

The position attracts a 10% Shift Allowance, time plus a half for any Weekend Work and time plus one third Night Allowance for hours worked after 8pm on a Weekday.
A full valid manual driving licence and Standard DBS check are required, in addition to holding a City & Guilds (or equivalent) Civil Enforcement Officer qualification.
