As we launch new territories, we hire two Territory Managers per region, and high-performing Field Sales Executives are always the first considered.

The Role

Location: Field-based (assigned local territory)

Territory: Chester, Crewe

Contract: Permanent, Full-Time

You’ll take full ownership of your territory — meeting merchants, closing deals, and building long-term relationships in your patch.

What You’ll Do
  • Attend on-site meetings with merchants booked by the SDR team (~75% of deals)
  • Generate your own pipeline through referrals and cold canvassing (~25%)
  • Demo Flatpay’s solution and close contracts face-to-face
  • Deliver and install terminals, ensuring smooth onboarding
  • Plan and manage your territory with structure, discipline, and intent
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and forecasting
  • Act as the trusted local face of Flatpay
  • Share insights with SDR, marketing, and product teams to strengthen execution
  • £60k–£70k OTE with uncapped commission
  • Guaranteed minimum commission of £2,120 per month, providing income security while you build your pipeline
  • Mileage reimbursement for use of your own vehicle

Who This Role Is For

Ambitious - You want more than just closing deals. You’re looking for ownership, progression, and the chance to grow as the business scales.

Grounded - You take responsibility, learn quickly, and value teamwork and coaching over ego.

Commercially Sharp - You read people well, adapt your approach, and build trust fast in face-to-face conversations.

Experience & Background
  • Sales experience preferred, but not essential
  • Comfortable meeting customers face-to-face and having commercial conversations
  • Experience in field sales, door-to-door, retail, hospitality, or other customer-facing roles is highly valued
  • Experience selling to SME owners or decision-makers is a plus
  • Payments or fintech experience not required
Requirements
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Access to your own vehicle
  • Willing and able to travel daily within your assigned territory (mileage reimbursed)
