Job description

We are seeking a Roaming QA Technician to carry out quality checks on finished goods, labels and packaging across all manufacturing departments. The role focuses on ensuring products meet defined quality standards by following quality plans and standard work instructions, working closely with production teams.

In this hands-on role, you’ll attend QA lab meetings, complete quality documentation and take prompt action where issues arise. You’ll be responsible for escalating non-conformances to the Quality Supervisor, raising NCMRs and SSR cards where required, and supporting investigations into quality issues and near misses. This is a great opportunity for someone with a sharp eye for detail who enjoys working collaboratively to drive high standards and continuous improvement.

The Candidate

We’re looking for a proactive and organised individual with strong computer skills. You’ll communicate well and be confident managing multiple priorities, working to deadlines and maintaining accurate records, with a meticulous eye for detail. A self-starter by nature, you’ll be enthusiastic, flexible and keen to learn, bringing a positive and professional approach to everything you do.
You’ll work closely with manufacturing teams and contributing to shared departmental goals. Experience within a manufacturing environment is essential, with knowledge of quality processes and plastics manufacturing being an advantage.
