WHAT TO EXPECT The Product Integrity team identifies all potential product safety issues withing products in the field as well as more recently providing support in the product design and development space to prevent/mitigate safety risks identified during product development phases.
This new role of Senior TS Product Integrity is needed to be a focus within the new product development space for new technologies such as ADAS, Electrified Powertrain etc, as a consultant/facilitator bringing together the considerations of safety regulation, product liability litigation and whole business risk management in the arena’s of Active, Passive, Functional Safety and Real World safety to provide guidance and direction to product engineering teams in relation to industry state of the art and pragmatic system design to optimise product cost vs safety risk in relation to new feature creation for example ADAS, Vehicle High Voltage systems. The TS role is fundamental to evolution of the assessment procedural framework to ensure JLR remain state of the art in product safety to ensure in ways that seek to continually improve its robustness and support the needs of the growing, evolving and diversifying global product safety and compliance environment created around new technology systems such as ADAS and EV systems.
