  • Provide on‑the-ground support during launch build phases and into as required.
  • Facilitate and deliver training for new equipment and processes to relevant operational teams.
  • Implement IPS and lean manufacturing tools, including group problem‑solving and the creation of process documentation such as method statements, schedules and risk/ergonomic assessments.
  • Contribute to the development of production‑ and maintenance‑friendly facilities, preventative maintenance practices, manuals, and spares availability.
  • Generate CCARs and PPS for plant concerns, participate in zone meetings, and use Agile methodology and JIRA to manage tasks and issues effectively.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • Relevant indentured or advanced modern apprenticeship.
  • Strong knowledge of ABB robots, PLCs, communication protocols and safety BUS systems.
  • Confident PC skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, email and Google applications, with strong presentation ability.
  • Excellent understanding of Health & Safety requirements and procedures.
  • Full UK driving licence and a valid passport.
  • Awareness of JLR product electrification and wider automotive industry developments.
  • Working knowledge of plant engineering and body construction activities.
