A thriving independent special school in Rochester is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support students aged 6 to 25 years old with diverse needs. The role involves providing 1-2-1 support to students and assisting teachers in fostering an engaging learning environment. Ideal candidates will have strong communication skills, a proactive work ethic, and a passion for education. This is a full-time, permanent position with a salary of £17,778, offering an opportunity to make a significant impact in students' lives.
Hours:Full time, permanent, term time only. Monday, Wednesday and Thursday 8.30am to 4.00pm Tuesday 8.30am to 5.00pm. Friday 8.30am to 1.30pm
Salary:FTE £22,222 (Actual Salary £17,778)

Ripplevale School and College, is a thriving independent special school, for 170 students aged 6 to 25 years old, located in the historic town of Rochester. As part of the Ripplevale family of schools, we provide a holistic, child centred approach to meeting the needs of our students, most of whom have an Education and Health Care Plan. Identified needs may include Autism Spectrum Disorder, dyslexia, speech, language and communication difficulties, DCD, sensory, and high levels of anxiety.
