A special needs school in Rochester is seeking a qualified Speech, Language and Communication Therapist. The role involves delivering integrated communication services to learners with special educational needs, providing therapeutic interventions, and collaborating with educational teams. Ideal candidates will be HCPC-registered with experience working with SEN learners, and possess strong communication and leadership skills. The school promotes a safeguarding commitment, requiring enhanced DBS checks for all staff.
Hours: Full time, permanent, term time only. 35 Hours a week
Salary: FTE £29,950 to £36,483 (Actual £24,898 to £30,301)
Ripplevale School and College, is a thriving independent special school, for 170 students aged 6 to 25 years old, located in the historic town of Rochester. As part of the Ripplevale family of schools, we provide a holistic, child centred approach to meeting the needs of our students, most of whom have an Education and Health Care Plan. Identified needs may include Autism Spectrum Disorder, dyslexia, speech, language and communication difficulties, DCD, sensory, and high levels of anxiety.
