Teaching Assistant – Fixed Term Position

Contract: Fixed Term
Hours: 32.5 hours per week (term time plus 2 non-term week, inc inset)
Salary: £20,049 p.a (pro rata to weekly hours and term time).

This position offers long-term stability and the opportunity to work closely with students, teachers and support staff to positively impact the learning environment.

Teaching Assistant – Permanent Position (37h)

Contract: Permanent
Hours: 37 hours per week (term time plus 2 non term weeks, inc inset)
Additional Requirement: Includes support for after-school clubs and activities
Salary: £22,826 p.a. (Pro rata to term time).

This role is ideal for someone who thrives on contributing to the wider school experience and is willing to support extended learning opportunities beyond the school day.

About The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support students with a variety of learning needs, ensuring they can access the curriculum effectively
• Work alongside teaching staff to deliver high-quality support in the classroom
• Assist with small-group interventions and targeted programmes
• Build positive, supportive relationships with students to help them thrive academically and socially
• Contribute to creating a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment
• Support the school's values and commitment to raising achievement for all learners

About You

We are looking for individuals who:

• Are caring, patient and committed to helping young people succeed
• Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Can work effectively as part of a team
• Are adaptable and able to respond to the diverse needs of students
• Ideally have experience of working with young people, although full training will be provided
