A newly created Senior Audio Programmer position has opened in our Guildford studio here at Stellar Entertainment. It couldn’t be a more exciting time to join us as we embark on new unannounced projects, pushing the boundaries of all aspects of the game to create a truly AAA experience.

This role will work with our Technical Directors to craft the creative implementation of audio in our projects. You will be involved in the full audio pipeline, working closely with our designers and engineers to create high quality, interactive sound experiences.

The Role

As our Senior Audio Programmer, you will:

• Lead the development of audio tools and technologies for our AAA projects, owning audio systems.
• Work with Designers and Engineers to implement audio technologies into the build.
• Lead the development of 3D in-game audio

Requirements

What we’re looking to see on your CV:

• Previous experience as a Senior Audio Engineer, working in the games industry, on AAA titles.
• Excellent C, C++ and 3D Maths skills.
• Demonstrated Work experience on 3D spatial audio
• Strong communication skills – this role will work with multiple internal teams, as well as external partners.
• Working knowledge of Unreal Engine, Wwise, FMOD.
• Proven knowledge of multi-thread programming.
