Carbon60 is looking to recruit a Warehouse Clerk to work for a leading Specialised Industrial Service Provider based in Montrose.
ROLE: Warehouse Clerk
PAY RATE: £26,774/annum, £12.87/hour
JOB TYPE: Temp to Perm (12 weeks temp, then permanent upon successful 9 weeks probation)
LOCATION: Montrose, DD10
HOURS: Monday to Thursday, Hours of work 7:54am - 4:30pm, for Friday 7:54am - 4pm
40 hours/week (30 minutes unpaid lunch each day break)
No Overtime Available.
The Role
- Adhering to H&S policies and procedures on site.
- Ordering stock based on customer requirements.
- Expediting and maintaining order books - check upcoming orders, chasing delivery times.
- Raising purchase order's (PO's) on customers behalf, Complete weekly stock cycling / counting checks, keeping team informed.
- Maintain accurate records of transactions and stock movements on Client and customer systems.
- Resolving purchasing and supplier invoice queries
- Be comfortable to take autonomy and responsibility of the warehouse/stores area, implementing own initiative alongside managerial guidance to implement changes for the efficiency of operations and effectiveness for the customer.
- Housekeeping stores and office area maintain 5s principles.
The Successful Candidate
- Basic competent IT literacy skills - professional email correspondence and use of MS Office for data entry - able to adapt to ERP systems on-site.
- Excellent communication skills, able to communicate with the customer professionally and effectively on-site during challenging, fast-paced and at times, pressured circumstances.
- It is advantageous if candidates have admin or customer facing experience in MRO or engineering or supply chain sectors but not essential.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Be able to meet the physical demands as well as able to show initiative and be willing and proactive in training provided to apply to the role.
- Use of a forklift Pivot truck required, full training will be provided.
