Location: Kilmarnock, East Ayrshire

28 hour contract available

Shift patterns: 8am – 10pm

Responsibilities
  • Personal Assistants (Support Workers) have an important role in making a positive difference to the lives of the people we support. You will be supporting someone who requires support to achieve their goals and outcomes.
  • Your duties may include assisting with various aspects of personal care, moving and handling, or positive behavioural support while helping expand their social networks and connections.
  • Enable creates a bespoke team around every individual; you will work collaboratively to ensure safety, wellbeing and aspirations are met.
About the person supported

The description below uses Scott as an example of the type of support provided:

  • Scott enjoys being out in his car, short walks, and spending time in his local community. He receives support 7 days a week, usually between 8am and 10pm.
  • A typical day may involve going to shops for essentials or simply being out in the community, with downtime spent watching movies or comedy programmes.
