Personal Assistants (Support Workers) have the most important role within Enable by making a positive difference every day to the lives of the people we support. No two days are the same, but you will be supporting someone who requires support to achieve their goals and outcomes.
Each person we support has different support requirements, so your role may include assisting with personal care, moving and handling or positive behavioural support while expanding their social networks and connections.
Enable creates a bespoke team around every individual we support, and our team of Personal Assistants work collaboratively to ensure the safety, wellbeing and aspirations of the people we support are met.
The Best in You Brings Out the Best in Me
The people we support have varied interests and dreams and deserve opportunities to pursue them. A career with Enable is rewarding and diverse; Personal Assistants at their best have the potential to bring out the best in the people we support.
Help transform lives like M’s. Hello, my name is M and I live in the Annandale project. I love listening to music, dancing, going to local shops, and watching movies on TV. I enjoy having a laugh and joke with staff.
Annandale Street offers accommodation to 8 adults over 50. It is a ground floor residence with a homely, domestic feel. Each bedroom is personalised and has its own ensuite toilet. There is a sheltered communal courtyard area, shower rooms, and a separate bathroom.
Are you ready to make a real difference to M and the other people we support at Southside older people’s services?
We are seeking individuals with the commitment, dedication and desire to support M and others to get the most out of life. You do not need prior experience in care to start a social care career with Enable. We recruit based on values and transferable skills. Wherever your journey has taken you, join us and forge a rewarding path in this role.
