A leading financial software company is seeking an Integration Engineer to build and maintain connections between their platform and major CRM and HRM systems. The ideal candidate will have strong backend engineering skills, especially in Kotlin, and experience in API integrations. This role involves working closely with customers during onboarding and resolving integration-related issues. The position offers a competitive salary, 25 days of leave, and opportunities for career growth in an innovative environment.
Light exists to replace factory-era ERPs with software that feels alive. Our Smart Financial Platform gives modern, global companies superpowers—automated accounting, real-time reporting, and financial flows that move at the speed of the business.
We build with our customers, ship fast, and obsess over craft. In a short time, Light has gone from idea to the operating core for leading companies like Lovable, Legora, and Keyshot. People don’t just use Light—they enjoy it.
We’re an early team defining a new software category. Think engineers who love debits and credits, designers who care about reconciliation states, and operators who treat finance as a product. If you’re excited to modernize how the world runs money—one workflow at a time—you’re in the right place.
Backed by world-class investors and advised by industry titans, we’re building category-defining products with the freedom to ship ambitiously and own outcomes. Come help us make Light the global default for next-gen finance.
Light's customers need their financial platform connected to their CRM (HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive) and HRM systems (BambooHR, Personio, Deel, etc.). This role owns all CRM/HRM integration work - building connectors, maintaining existing ones, and being the go-to person when customers need their people/sales data flowing into Light.
You'll work closely with Customer Delivery on implementations and the Solutions Architecture group on connector design patterns. This isn't a support role - you're an engineer building and improving how Light connects to these systems.
Build and maintain integrations with major CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive) and HRM systems (BambooHR, Personio, Deel, Workday)
Own the integration patterns and shared libraries for CRM/HRM connectors
Work directly with customers during onboarding to configure and troubleshoot their integrations
Document APIs and integration approaches so the team can scale knowledge
Triage and resolve integration-related production issues
Partner with Product to prioritise which connectors to build next based on customer demand
Strong backend engineering (Kotlin preferred, Java/JVM acceptable)
Experience building and maintaining third-party API integrations
Comfortable with OAuth flows, webhooks, rate limiting, and the messiness of real-world APIs
PostgreSQL knowledge
Familiarity with at least one major CRM or HRM platform's API
Pragmatic approach - these integrations need to work reliably, not win architecture awards
Practical experience using AI or emerging technology tools to improve productivity, insight, or decision-making, with the ability to apply first-principles thinking to new problems.
Experience with financial data or ERP integrations
Previous work in a B2B SaaS environment
Exposure to AWS (EKS, Lambda, RDS)
CRM/HRM integrations are a growing part of our customer onboarding and ongoing support load. Having a dedicated specialist means faster implementations, better connector quality, and a single point of accountability. You\'ll have real ownership and direct customer impact.
In addition to being part of a great team and working in a really fun and innovative environment, we offer:
💸 A competitive salary + potential stock options
🏝 25 days of annual leave + public holidays in the country where you are based.
🥳 Regular socials and company off-sites
🚀 A huge opportunity for career growth as you\'ll help shape a market-defining product.
