  • Negotiate compensation events and oversee subcontract administration, payments, and commercial correspondence.
  • Identify cost risks, opportunities, and mitigation strategies, ensuring accurate monthly reporting and governance.
  • Support delivery teams with commercial advice, cost analysis, and contract compliance.
  • Mentor and manage QSs, AQSs, trainees, and graduates to ensure high standards across all commercial outputs.
  • Analyse costs, produce detailed performance reports, and contribute to continuous improvement.
  • Drive integration of commercial processes across the business, promoting innovation and efficiency.
What you will bring:

  • Strong knowledge of NEC, FIDIC, and JCT forms of contract, including variations, claims, and dispute resolution.
  • Expertise in cost control, budgeting, forecasting, and high‑level commercial reporting.
  • Skilled in negotiation, stakeholder management, and client communication.
  • Strong leadership ability with experience mentoring junior staff.
  • Highly detail‑focused with excellent financial and contractual accuracy.
  • Degree or HND in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
  • RICS membership (or working towards) is a strong advantage.
  • CSCS card required.
  • Strategic thinker with resilience, integrity, and a proactive approach to risk and value.
Benefits:
  • 26 days holiday plus bank holidays
  • Private Healthcare
  • Car Allowance
  • Company Pension
