A leading energy provider in Peterborough is seeking a craft attendant jointer to assist in excavating and repairing faults for their electrical distribution network. The role entails collaboration with supervisors and adherence to safety practices, ensuring effective teamwork and customer focus. Applicants should possess at least GCSE qualifications and a driving license, with additional training available. The position offers a salary of £35,158 plus benefits and a 3% bonus.
This craft attendant jointer will report to the field staff supervisor and will work within network operations based in our Peterborough office. You will be a permanent employee in our UK Power Network team.
You will attract a salary of £35,158+ benefits and a bonus of 3%.

Job Purpose:
You will provide the Jointer assistance in their role, excavating and completing faults repairs, network alterations, and new connection work, which involves you excavating and jointing work on the LV/HV distribution network. This will also include assisting in the restoration of LV supplies as part of fault working and system emergencies. This will observe the work in progress to ensure that we follow correct procedures with regard to PPE and safe working practices for the task in hand.
