Overview

Towpath Team Volunteer roles offers a great way to meet other local Trust volunteers and staff, learn new skills, hear about other volunteer opportunities, or just spend a few hours outdoors improving your local waterway environment.

There are no formal skills required and you have the chance to volunteer across lots of unique and beautiful environments.

Responsibilities

• Join the Watford / Rickmansworth Towpath Taskforce to tackle a variety of tasks, including lock painting, vegetation management, graffiti removal, towpath repair, litter picks, and area enhancement projects like flower planters and gardens.
• Work with tools and equipment provided, with expert and friendly support on site.

The activities take place along the Grand Union Canal in Watford / Rickmansworth from 10:00 to 14:00.

Once signed up, you will receive briefings about where the sessions will take place, and you will be notified of any other sessions that may be planned.
