A community-focused leisure organization in Altrincham is seeking a SEND Inclusion Specialist to champion inclusive practice and ensure children and young people with special educational needs can fully access programs. The role involves coordinating access audits and supporting staff. Location: move Altrincham
Rate: £13 per hour

This is a pivotal point in our evolution as Trafford Council’s multi-million-pound leisure investment programme is rolled out. This ambitious programme will see the portfolio of leisure centres transformed into fit-for-purpose, accessible, inspiring spaces under a new brand of “move” for future generations to come.
The Role:
This specialist role focuses on championing inclusive practice at move Altrincham. You will work closely with the site team, families, and partners to ensure children and young people with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), neurodivergent individuals, and those facing barriers to participation can fully access our programmes and facilities.
As part of a Community Interest Company (CIC), your work will make a real difference to the residents of Trafford and the wider Greater Manchester community. From supporting staff with inclusive approaches to coordinating access audits and developing assessment tools for swimming and gymnastics, you will help embed inclusive practice and improve health outcomes for people with SEND.
