Daphne's, based in the luxurious South Kensington, is an esteemed Italian restaurant celebrated for its sophisticated ambiance, exceptional cuisine, and unwavering commitment to culinary excellence. Established in 1964, Daphne's has offered a harmonious blend of contemporary and traditional Italian dishes that have attracted some of London’s most famous residents. Our stunning conservatory can be used year-round, allowing for lots of sunlight in the summer and a cosy fire for the winter.

We are currently seeking a poised and customer-focused Receptionist to join our dynamic team. As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their experience at our restaurant. If you have a passion for hospitality, excellent organizational skills, and are committed to delivering top-notch service, we invite you to be a welcoming presence at our beautiful restaurant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and welcome guests with warmth and professionalism.
  • Manage reservations, ensuring accurate and efficient table assignments.
  • Open Table and/or Seven Rooms experience.
  • Coordinate with the service team to ensure a seamless dining experience.
  • Answer phone calls and inquiries, providing information and assistance.
  • Maintain the reception area, keeping it clean and organized.
  • Uphold the highest standards of service and guest satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a receptionist, host, or Maitre D’ in a restaurant or hospitality setting is advantageous but not required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive and friendly demeanour.
