Qualifications

• Certified as a Surgical Technologist is required.
• Excellent verbal, written, and reading skills in English.
• Must be within 30 minutes of hospital for on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons and nursing in preparation and performance of surgical procedures.
• Perform delegated scrub duties including table set up and instrument counting.
• Ensure asepsis and patient safety.

Skills

Excellent verbal skills in English

Ability to work effectively with a team

Understanding of sterile technique

Education

High school diploma or GED

Certified as a Surgical Technologist

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with one year of surgical technologist experience
