Job summary

Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse (NMC) or Operating Department Practitioner (HCPC).
  • Experience or training in a theatre environment, especially in scrub, anaesthetics, or recovery.
  • Understanding of infection control and patient safety principles.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the surgical team by preparing instruments and ensuring equipment safety.
  • Support the Anaesthetist in patient monitoring and airway management.
  • Set up operating theatres according to specific patient requirements.
