Seasonal Campsite Warden - Single or Couple (Cambridgeshire - CB6)

Season: April - October 2026 . Must have your own caravan or motorhome

Slade Paddock Campsite is looking for a friendly, reliable seasonal warden/s to join our team. We are a small 30 pitch family run site situated on a working farm. We have a quirky bar on-site and hold regular live music nights throughout the high season. We also offer food from our van - The Jolly Trotter.

This role suits someone who enjoys meeting people, being outdoors, and wants a great lifestyle base for the season. It could be perfect for someone semi-retired who still wants to keep their hand in, but we want to hear from anyone suitable.

We will accept a well behaved dogs that can be left on its own without barking at everyone walking by.

Role for single or shared for couple

Campsite Warden

This is mainly about being a friendly on-site presence and helping the site run smoothly. Duties include:

• Greeting guests and being a helpful point of contact
• Assisting with arrivals and preplanning plot allocations. Directing campers to pitches and explanation of site information.
• Daily site walk-rounds and reporting issues early
• Keeping the site presentable
• Friendly rule reminders (quiet hours, general site conduct)
• Escalating anything more serious to management
• Cleaning the ladies and gents toilet/shower wetrooms to a high standard properly every morning
• A later check/spruce-up each day (top-ups, quick tidy, keep standards high)
• Cleaning 2 toilet block at the bar and hoover and tidy of The Humble Pig.

More work available: extra hours can be paid at an hourly rate, and there is additional work available if you want it ie: bar work and catering assistance in food van.

If you`re a couple these roles could be split or done jointly together.
