Join Our Team as a Spanish Teacher in London!

Are you passionate about teaching Spanish and inspiring young minds? We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Spanish Teacher to join our team in London. If you have a love for the Spanish language and culture and enjoy working with students, we want to hear from you!

Job Title: Spanish Teacher

Location: Harrow

Salary: £140-£170 per day

Hours: up to 40 hours per week (3-5 days), 8.30am-4.30pm

The Role …

LSC is looking for an engaging, enthusiastic Spanish Teacher to deliver high-quality MFL lessons across primary school settings. You will plan and deliver creative, age-appropriate Spanish lessons that build pupils’ confidence in speaking, listening, reading and writing, while fostering a love of languages and cultural awareness. The role includes preparing resources, assessing pupil progress, managing behaviour in line with school expectations, and working with class teachers to ensure continuity of learning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver effective Spanish lessons that meet the requirements of the primary curriculum
  • Create a stimulating, inclusive classroom environment that encourages communication and participation
  • Use a variety of teaching strategies and resources to meet the needs of all learners
  • Assess, monitor and record pupil progress and provide timely feedback to pupils and colleagues
  • Work collaboratively with class teachers and school staff to integrate Spanish across the curriculum
  • Manage classroom behaviour positively and maintain high expectations for pupil conduct
  • Contribute to the development of schemes of work, curriculum resources and whole-school events
  • Attend school meetings, parents’ evenings and professional development as required

Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (desirable)
  • Experience teaching Spanish in primary schools or early years settings
  • Strong subject knowledge and confidence teaching Spanish through speaking, listening, reading and writing
  • Good classroom management and behaviour strategies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to take part in school activities, trips and events
  • Valid DBS clearance (we can assist with the application if required)
