A leading charity in social care is looking for passionate female support workers to join their team in Aberdeen City. In this role, you'll provide personalized support to individuals living independently, fostering their engagement in community activities and ensuring their well-being. Candidates should be reliable, motivated, and hold a full UK driving license. The role offers 30-35 hours of work per week with flexible shift patterns and a supportive working environment devoted to personal and professional development.
Community Integrated Care is one of UK’s largest health and social care charities. We work hard to enrich the lives of people with many different care needs. It’s exciting and rewarding work, and we’re full of pride and passion for what we do.
Since the early days, we’ve grown to provide many innovative and bespoke care services to thousands of people across England and Scotland. We want to provide support based on the principles of choice, dignity and respect. This resonates in our vision of ‘Your Life, Your Choice’ and our strategy ‘Best Lives Possible’.
We have strong values and we’re proud to pioneer new ways of delivering social care to stand out in our sector. In the past two years, we have won or made the shortlist for over 100 national and regional awards!
We are also focused on our people. Our Support Workers are dedicated and passionate about going ‘the extra mile’ for the people we support and in return, we go the extra for them by investing in pay, recognition, wellbeing and continued professional and personal development.
Our fantastic service in Westhill supports three ladies living independently in their own home. They each have their own personalities, needs and preferences. Our service has an exceptional level of support and we work with the support and contribution of family members to provide a completely personalised service, developing and evolving to do things better. We are looking for female support workers to join our dedicated team who are highly reliable and motivated and have passion for what they do. Flexibility is required to meet the needs of the ladies we support and the working hours of our service. Applicants should hold a full UK driving licence. The ladies we support enjoy accessing community facilities and person‑centred activities. They also enjoy a wide range of activities including gardening, going to concerts and theatre, visiting family, puzzles, nice walks, movie nights, shopping and arts and crafts and many more! We need people who are eager to know and learn about what we do and provide person‑centred support around this. The shifts in this service include early, late, double and sleep‑over shifts. Sometimes the people we support really need a male or female person to support them. For this particular role, a female colleague is required. This is a genuine occupational requirement as defined by the Equality Act 2010. Driving licence is preferred. We are looking for a full‑time support worker for this role for 30 or 35 hours a week. Shifts are 10am – 11pm sleep‑over – finishing at 10am the next day / 7.30am – 4pm and 3pm – 9pm.
The people we support like to be supported by people who respect them and their homes, but who also like to have fun! We like people who are reliable and honest, so the people we support can build trust and know that you have their best interests at heart. It’s important that you are reliable and honest and can communicate well with everyone.
