Job summary

A leading technology solutions provider located in Greenford, UK, seeks an Associate Systems Support Engineer to assist in resolving technical issues and providing high-quality support to customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronics/electro-mechanical systems, experience with Microsoft Office, and good organizational skills. This full-time role demands effective communication and a commitment to quality service to enhance customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Experience in field maintenance in electronics/electro-mechanical systems.
  • Technical experience of devices hardware down to component level.
  • Competent user of MS Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Basic Networking knowledge (TCP/IP).

Responsibilities

  • Advise and contribute to the resolution of complex technical issues.
  • Work collaboratively with resolver teams to resolve incidents.
  • Monitor and provide early life support on new products.
  • Undertake data analysis to identify trends for service improvement.

Skills

Experience in field maintenance in electronics/electro-mechanical systems
Technical experience of devices hardware down to component level
Competent user of MS software packages
Sound knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems
Basic Networking knowledge (TCP/IP)
Ability to communicate effectively
Good organizational skills
Self-motivated
Team player

Education

HND in electrical & electronic engineering or equivalent
Microsoft Accreditation

Tools

MS Office Suite
Basic knowledge of Linux scripting
SQL T-SQL
