Domestic Violence Court – Community Resource Coordinator

The Community Resource Coordinator is responsible for planning, developing, and coordinating services aimed at assisting the Court in reducing repeated instances of domestic violence. The work involves responsibility for implementing various domestic violence programs within the community, as well as monitoring services for participants in the programs.

Responsibilities
  • Community Resource Development:
    • Establish and maintain relationships with social service agencies, treatment providers, victim advocates, and community organizations.
    • Develop and update resource guides for court staff, litigants, and others.
    • Serve as a liaison between the court and external agencies.
    • Data collection for grant reporting and applications.
  • Case Coordination and Intake:
    • Gather relevant case information as needed for DV court proceedings.
    • Conduct or assist with intake assessments of litigants.
    • Provide referrals to appropriate community programs, including but not limited to victim advocacy, counseling, substance abuse treatment, and batterer intervention programs.
  • Administrative and Compliance Support:
    • Coordinate with service providers regarding compliance, participation, and progress in referral programs.
    • Provide case status updates.
    • Track participation in court-ordered referral programs and report compliance status to Judges.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and/or social work experience.

Starting pay: $18.44; up to 29 hours per week. No benefits.
