Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Domestic Cleaner to join its facilities team in Bingley, West Yorkshire. This full-time, permanent role offers a salary of £24,465 per year and provides an essential opportunity to contribute to the cleanliness, safety, and overall wellbeing of patients, staff, and visitors across the Trust’s healthcare settings.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Domestic Cleaner, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring that clinical and non-clinical areas are clean, safe, and welcoming. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing daily cleaning tasks across wards, offices, corridors, and communal areas
  • Using appropriate cleaning materials and equipment in line with infection control protocols
  • Ensuring all surfaces, floors, fixtures, and furnishings are hygienically maintained
  • Responding to ad-hoc cleaning requests and supporting deep-clean operations when required
  • Reporting any maintenance issues, hazards, or equipment faults promptly
  • Following Trust guidelines for waste disposal, including clinical and general waste
  • Supporting the overall presentation and cleanliness of the facility to meet CQC standards

You’ll be expected to work collaboratively with other members of the facilities and clinical teams, ensuring that cleaning schedules are followed and that patient areas remain safe and comfortable at all times.
