Group1 Bedford is looking for aDivisional Trade Parts Representative.
Your role
Working with world-class brands as a Trade Parts Representative you’ll have the drive to deliver outstanding and trusted experiences for our customers.
As part of a successful, global automotive group, you’ll broaden your experience across multiple sites and Business Partners. And with the right support from us, you’ll be able to progress as high as you can aim.
What you’ll do day to day
- Account Management – Build and maintain strong relationships with existing trade customers, acting as their primary point of contact
- Identify and pursue growth opportunities within accounts, upselling products and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Prospect and win new trade business through regular visits to garages, body shops, and fleet operators.
- Reactivate dormant accounts and consistently grow territory revenue year-on-year.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets, meeting key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends to inform strategy and stay ahead.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, quotations, and sales using CRM systems.
- Visit independent garages, body shops, and fleet operators regularly to showcase and promote automotive parts and services.
- Collaborate with internal teams and manufacturer partners to support promotions, launches, and ensure pricing and service standards align with company policies.
Your profile

- Proven background in automotive parts sales, trade sales, or account management, with strong knowledge of OEM and aftermarket components.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build lasting customer relationships.
- Self-motivated and target-driven, capable of working independently to meet performance goals
- Proficient in CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and parts cataloguing tools, with a solid understanding of trade customer expectations
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a relevant role, full UK driving licence required, and flexibility for early visits or customer events.
