The Dispensing Optician plays a vital role within the dispensing team. They are responsible for delivering the dispensing function to the highest professional standards while maintaining strong, positive relationships with both patients and colleagues. Acting as the crucial link between the consulting room and the dispensing process, they ensure a seamless and professional patient experience.

Responsibilities

The Dispensing Optician is responsible for delivering outstanding patient care through professional, courteous service and accurate dispensing. They ensure all administrative, financial, and clinical tasks are completed efficiently and in compliance with regulations. The role includes supporting and training team members, assisting with patient consultations, selecting and fitting eyewear, managing spectacle orders, and performing minor repairs. They maintain high professional standards, uphold the company's image, and stay up to date with clinical knowledge and professional development.

Must be comfortable in confidently presenting and dispensing high-end, designer, and bespoke frames.
