Superdrug Pharmacy Team – Qualifications Not Required

We welcome applications from qualified Dispensers and those with no pharmacy experience who are eager to begin their career as a Trainee Pharmacy Assistant.

Location: Birkenhead

Hours: 14 hours per week over 3 days. Monday 1:30–5:30, Thursday 12:30–5:30, Friday 12:30–5:30 with some Saturdays.

Salary: £13.30 per hour (Dispenser) / £12.50 per hour (Trainee pharmacy assistant).

What You’ll Be Doing

• Supporting the pharmacy team with counter sales and stock replenishment
• Delivering exceptional service across both the pharmacy counter and dispensary
• Ensuring customers and patients are served with care, efficiency, and professionalism
• Maintaining high standards of presentation and merchandising

We’re Looking For

• Either NVQ Level 2 in Dispensing (or equivalent) OR a keen interest in healthcare to begin your pharmacy career with us as a trainee pharmacy assistant.
• No prior experience required – just a passion for healthcare and customer service
• A friendly, positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to work well in a team or independently
• Confidence to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Passionate about learning and open to training in additional services
