Responsibilities
- Responsible for the management of a client base, developing and maintaining existing client relationships, and further increasing business through new client generation.
- Consistently lead interactions with wealth advice, ensuring all interactions lead to a full understanding of clients and prospects and gaining a deep understanding of their financial goals, personal goals, and ambitions.
- Operate with a growth mindset, manage a new business target, lead business development activities, and contribute towards the achievement of the group business plan, vision, and strategy.
- Consistently articulate the full breadth of RBC proposition (e.g. investment, lending, cash, and trust solutions) to clients and prospects. Work as part of the broader wealth management team and introduce the right specialists to client relationships, where required, to enhance client experience and deliver exceptional client outcomes.
- Ensure clients are referred internally to the ‘home of best fit’.
- Confidently take clients through as much of the advice journey as possible before involving other specialist colleagues.
- Lead and manage teams, providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship to ensure team members’ professional growth and delivery of exceptional services.
- Drive performance management, including goal setting, performance reviews, individual development conversations, and planning.
Qualifications
- Level 6 CISI or CII. Level 4 can be considered if you have extensive experience to complement.
- Significant experience within a wealth management role.
- Proven relationship‑management skills, with the ability to understand client needs, communicate solutions, and earn the client’s trust.
- An extremely detailed and diverse knowledge of business sectors, current business developments, market trends, and financial products and services to effectively communicate with clients.
- Acts as a role model and demonstrates a high degree of capacity to drive positive behaviours in team members and colleagues.
