A local government authority in Liverpool is seeking a strategic leader for its IT Operations and digital functions. This key role involves driving innovation, managing complex programmes, and enhancing service delivery. Ideal candidates will have extensive public sector experience and a proven track record in leadership. Reporting to the Executive Director of Resources, this role will provide strategic leadership for the Delivery, Assurance, IT Operations, AI and Digital functions for the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority.
This is a real opportunity to support the ambition of the Combined Authority and will contribute to delivering positive and impactful change across the Liverpool City Region.
As this is a key leadership role, you will be instrumental in providing strategic leadership of digital and transformation programmes and functions, securing innovation and contemporary approaches, and driving organisational improvements. You will also ensure the Combined Authority has sound assurance and programme control frameworks in place. You will have the autonomy to drive forward change and respond to new challenges and opportunities for growth.
You must be able to demonstrate your ability to lead, inspire and motivate others to further develop a culture of proactive service delivery and continuous improvement.
You will be a proactive and collaborative member of the senior leadership team and will have a proven leadership track record of building and managing strong performance teams. You will have experience of developing a culture of proactive service delivery and continuous improvement.
