The Digital Marketing Manager leads audience growth across email, CRM, paid and social — applying insight, creativity and smart experimentation to drive traffic, grow subscriptions, and build brand loyalty.
This role is central to the growth of Extradelicious., the digital membership product, and plays a key part in evolving marketing for delicious. magazine. It also contributes to the development and delivery of content marketing campaigns for commercial clients — working within a content agency structure alongside an established food brand.
The role sits at the intersection of strategy and execution, helping to build a modern growth engine across email, social and paid channels. Ideal for someone who thrives on ownership and cross-functional collaboration.
Key responsibilties
Email & CRM
- Own newsletter strategy, planning, build and performance reporting.
- Drive data acquisition, segmentation and journey optimisation
- Develop automated onboarding, retention and campaign journeys for subscribers.
- Plan and test campaigns to support seasonal moments, content priorities, and conversion funnels.
Subscription & campaign marketing
- Own the content marketing planner — aligning monthly and weekly content across email, social, and paid to ensure unified brand messaging and campaign delivery.
- Lead multichannel campaigns to grow Extradelicious. and print subscriptions, driving both acquisition and retention.
- Own paid media strategy and execution — primarily Meta (Facebook/Instagram), with scope to test other platforms.
- Plan, launch, and optimise paid campaigns in line with content, commercial, and seasonal objectives.
- Develop creative briefs and collaborate with content and creative teams to produce high-performing assets.
- Work with the Social Media Manager and content team to align organic and paid efforts.
- Track campaign performance across print and digital and optimise toward ROI goals.
Audience & insights
- Own the delicious. brand panel: develop questions, analyse responses, and integrate insights into marketing campaigns, email journeys, and content planning.
- Collaborate with the Social Media Manager, Content & Platform Manager and content team to ensure audience insights are used across all channels.
Cross-functional collaboration
- Work with commercial, content, and social teams to align on messaging and targeting.
- Partner with the Audience & Platform Manager to optimise journeys from campaign to site.
- Liaise with fulfilment or circulation partners where needed to align print campaigns with back-end systems.
- Represent Eye to Eye Media at external events, when required.
Tooling & process
- Help refine our marketing stack and introduce new tools or workflows where needed.
- Manage performance reporting, forecasting, and campaign retros for both digital and print channels.

Who you are
- Demonstrable experience in a digital marketing or growth role (ideally with email and subscription focus).
- Strong experience with newsletter planning, email automation, and CRM segmentation.
- Hands-on experience planning and running paid media campaigns, especially on Meta platforms.
- Data-driven mindset — able to translate performance into insight and action.
- Hands-on with tools like Mailchimp, GA4, Meta Ads, and Stripe (or equivalents).
- Great copy instincts and the ability to translate brand voice into campaigns.
- Experience with gated content, paywalls or membership models.
- Strong grasp of paid media strategy, optimisation, and creative testing.
- Familiarity with food/lifestyle content and how to market it.
- Experience working in a lean, fast-moving team with lots of ownership.
