Job description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Therapist to join our friendly dental practice in Newport (NP20 6WE). As a vital member of our oral healthcare team, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality preventative care and treatment to our diverse patient base.

About the role:
  • Working: 2 days per week (Monday and Tuesday)
  • Deliver a comprehensive range of dental treatments, including preventative care, restorative procedures, and oral health education
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients
  • Collaborate with dentists and other dental professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Perform thorough dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing procedures
  • Provide patient education on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventative care
  • Conduct oral health assessments and screenings for various dental conditions
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
  • Adhere to all regulatory standards and practice protocols
  • Engage empathetically with patients to ensure a positive dental experience
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of our practice

Qualifications
